Surefire Ways To Increase Site Traffic

increase site traffic to a new website when it has no visitors can be a scary task. That is why the beginning steps are so important. Keyword research needs to be put into a plan that you can use.

Why take a brand new website and just put up pages without having any kind of plan set up. When you do your keyword research it involves 3 things, the search volume, who are you going after and what is your competition. When you just half hazardly put up web pages without a defined SEO plan, a half a year will go by and you’ll ask yourself why you don’t have any site visitors. The reason why you don’t have any site visitors is because you didn’t take the time to put together a well thought out SEO plan. I find that there are two things that people leave out of their keyword research. They are using words that don’t have any traffic or they picked a keyword that has so much competition that they couldn’t rank for it even if they tried.

Here are some SEO techniques I've learned. Spend more time picking your keywords than any other task you have for your website. Study these words. Now you’ll have a better idea of what to write in your content because you took the time to do so. This will be your step ladder to success. How many times has one keyword be searched for? Finding out this information will help you with your ranking. Now that this is all done, you’ll have a good idea of how many visitors you will get to your new web site and just how long it will take you to reach this goal.

It’s a straight forward plan that I use. I do the same steps every time I start a new website. Many times people will seek out advice when it comes to this and the advisor seems to leave how important the keyword research is, out. I don’t get it why something this important would be left out.

Let’s say we have 2 different websites, an ecommerce one and a sales letter. Keywords will be easier to come up with for the ecommerce website than the sales letter. I’ll pick the longer tailed keywords first for the ecommerce site. Now go back to your written plan and you’ll rank for these words quickly.

The sales letter will not have as many pages. In order to rank well, I have to figure out who would be interested in buying that product. You can always do some free traffic generation methods.

Last, come up with a good list of keywords that will work best for your site. After this is done, you’re well on your way to increase site traffic for your brand new web site.
